Video Editing

I started out in web development. Then I realized I’d rather spend my days cutting out awkward silences than hunting for a missing semicolon. Eight years later, I edit videos from Antananarivo for creators and brands across France, Belgium and Switzerland. Yes, the time difference doesn’t scare me, and neither does my internet connection (well, almost). My playground is long-form YouTube, short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), motion design and video podcasts. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender: I’ve got plenty of tools to play with, but more importantly, I adapt to what your content actually needs, not just to what my favorite software happens to do best. My secret weapon is that my developer past didn’t disappear, it just changed careers. I built AutoTool, a Premiere Pro plugin that automates rough-cut sorting and subtitle generation. In practice, that means less time lost on repetitive tasks and more energy for the pacing, the emotion and the small details that keep viewers watching past the first 10 seconds. That’s what I love most: editing that feels effortless, even though there’s real craft behind it. If you’re looking for someone who gets your tone, respects your deadlines and doesn’t vanish after the first draft, we’ll probably get along just fine. And if your raw footage is 3 hours long for an 8-minute video, don’t worry, I’ve seen worse.

Video Editing

I’m a self-taught video editor, and that shapes how I work. I learned by editing real videos, breaking things, and figuring out why. I started in Shotcut and have since picked up Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve. That habit of learning by doing is why I’m comfortable with new tools and can adapt quickly to whatever pipeline others already use. I am a great troubleshooter can explain technical problems in plain language, so non-technical users know what went wrong and what to do next. I’m passionate about making media that holds up, whether that’s a clean edit, a well-designed thumbnail, or a moment that lasts. I work independently, I’m process-minded, and I follow through on long projects. If you need someone who can edit, design, troubleshoot, strategize and code, that’s what I bring. What sets me apart is that when a render fails, a file won’t play in sync, or a workflow is slow, I trace the problem and fix it. For editing, that means I handle the technical headaches myself: file formats that won’t play nice, exports that fail or come out the wrong size, lag, and audio or video that falls out of sync. Projects stay on schedule instead of stalling on tech issues. I’ve also worked on a podcast, so I understand audio, spoken-word pacing, and how to hold a listener’s attention without visuals. It's also taught me the importance of how audio and volume quality. I also learned graphic design studying web media design and by learning from others, and applying that knowledge directly to my own thumbnails and visuals.
