About Alive & Free Ministries
Alive & Free Ministries is a Christian media ministry creating thoughtful, engaging video content about personal faith journeys, life-changing experiences, Christianity, and important questions about religion and belief.
We are looking for a confident, articulate, and engaging on-camera host and interviewer to join us for an ongoing remote interview series.
About the Role
You will host recorded online interviews with guests who share their personal stories, experiences, and perspectives on faith and life. The interviews will be conducted remotely, with you appearing on camera from your own location.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Introducing guests and presenting each interview in a warm, professional manner.
- Asking prepared interview questions and following up naturally when appropriate.
- Listening attentively and responding authentically to create engaging conversations.
- Recording high-quality video and audio using a reliable internet connection and suitable equipment.
- Delivering a polished introduction and closing for each interview.
What We Provide
You will not need to find guests, conduct extensive research, or write interview scripts. We will provide the guests, research, interview questions, creative direction, and overall content plan.
Your primary role is to host the conversation, bring your personality and communication skills to the interview, and help make each episode engaging and professional.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Is a fluent English speaker with a clear, natural, engaging speaking voice.
- Has excellent on-camera presence and strong conversational skills.
- Has experience in YouTube hosting, podcasting, journalism, presenting, interviewing, or a related field.
- Can listen carefully, ask questions naturally, and respond thoughtfully.
- Has a quiet recording environment, a good camera, a quality microphone, and reliable internet.
- Is dependable, professional, respectful, and comfortable discussing personal stories and sensitive religious topics with empathy.
- Can work remotely and collaborate consistently with our team.
Experience with Christian media, faith-related interviews, or documentary-style content is welcome but not essential. We value excellent communication, authenticity, and professionalism.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
This is a remote, paid contract opportunity with the potential for an ongoing monthly collaboration. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, hosting ability, and the agreed workload.
We are interested in building a reliable long-term working relationship with the right person. We can begin with a paid pilot interview before discussing an ongoing arrangement.
