I write scripts. That's basically it but I take it seriously. I got into this by watching way too many YouTube videos and asking "why did I not skip that part?" Turns out there's a science to it hooks, pacing, when to slow down, when to hit fast and I spent a lot of time just breaking that down instead of scrolling mindlessly. Eventually I started writing my own stuff to test what I'd learned, and it stuck. I'm not precious about my writing. If a line doesn't earn its place, it gets cut. My job is to make the video work, not to sound clever. Give me a topic and a rough vibe of the channel, and I'll come back with something that's built to keep people watching, not just something that reads nice on paper. Still figuring a lot of this out, honestly but I learn fast and I care about getting it right.

I've been editing videos for years in my free time, developing my skills as the technology and tools available to me have grown. Most of my experience comes from creating content for my own YouTube channel, where I make everything from little comedy sketches to gaming videos. It's given me the freedom to experiment with different editing styles, comedic timing, pacing and storytelling, and to learn what actually makes a video entertaining to watch. A couple of years ago, I also completed several video editing courses to build on what I'd taught myself and get a better understanding of professional workflows and industry standards. I primarily edit using Final Cut Pro, although I've also worked with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. I've reached the point where I'd like to take something I've spent years doing for fun and start doing it professionally.
