Hey! I'm pretty new to content creation, so bear with me if I'm not the best at explaining exactly what I'm looking for yet, lol.
I recently started getting into streaming and making content, mainly focusing on Overwatch and Deadlock. I play Genji in Overwatch and Lash in Deadlock, and I'm looking for an editor who can help me turn my gameplay and stream highlights into entertaining videos.
For YouTube, I'm mainly interested in gaming montages with good pacing, clean transitions, music synchronization, and edits that make the gameplay feel exciting without being too over the top.
For my Genji content, I really like the editing style of Necros. I love how his montages highlight the fast-paced gameplay, with smooth transitions, well-timed effects, and music that matches what's happening on screen. That's the general direction I'd like to go with my Overwatch videos.
For Deadlock, I'm a big fan of Axl's Lash videos. I enjoy the way his content combines impressive gameplay with humor, creative editing, and entertaining moments. I'd love to capture a similar feeling in my own videos while still developing my own style and personality.
I'm also looking to make short-form content for TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Ideally, I'd like someone who can go through my Twitch streams, find funny moments, impressive plays, or anything that could make a good clip, and turn those moments into engaging short videos. I don't necessarily want every clip to be heavily edited, but I do want them to feel polished, entertaining, and worth watching.
Since I'm still starting out, I'm hoping to find someone who's patient, easy to communicate with, and willing to work with me as I figure everything out. I'm definitely open to suggestions and creative ideas, especially from someone who has experience editing gaming content and understands what works on YouTube and TikTok.
Eventually, I'd love to build a consistent content schedule and hopefully develop a long-term working relationship with an editor who understands the kind of content I want to make.
I'm not expecting someone to copy Necros or Axl exactly. They're just the best examples I can give of the editing styles I enjoy, and I'd love to create something that feels similar while making it my own.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd love to see some examples of your previous work!
And if you've made it this far, I just want to make it clear that this is a paid opportunity! I'm not expecting anyone to work for free, and I'm more than happy to discuss and negotiate pricing based on your experience, the amount of work involved, and what works for both of us.
