I'm the creator behind PotatoesOBrienn, a personality-driven gaming channel built around funny interactions, unpredictable gameplay, reactions, and community entertainment.
I'm looking for an editor who can help turn my weekly livestreams into entertaining, standalone YouTube videos.
Typical videos: 10–20 minutes, with the possibility of longer projects.
What matters most:
- Strong comedic timing and natural storytelling
- Excellent pacing and understanding of viewer retention
- Knowing when to add memes, sound effects, captions, and zooms — and when not to
- Keeping my personality and authentic reactions at the center
- Experience turning gaming streams into entertaining YouTube videos
I'll provide VODs with timestamps and separate sections for potential videos. Deliveries can be staggered throughout the week rather than all at once.
I'm looking to build a long-term relationship with an editor who understands my humor and channel identity. I'd like to start with a paid trial and potentially move into consistent weekly projects.
To apply, please provide:
- Two full-length gaming videos you've edited.
- Your price for a 15-minute finished video from 45–60 minutes of timestamped footage.
- Your typical turnaround time and revision policy.
- A brief explanation of how you'd approach editing a funny, personality-driven gaming stream.
I'm more interested in storytelling, pacing, and personality than flashy editing for its own sake.
