We are looking for a YouTube Scriptwriter / Content Researcher who can help us create highly engaging, research-backed long-form YouTube videos.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and develop strong YouTube video topics around nutrition, health, food science, weight loss and fitness.
  • Find interesting angles and stories instead of writing generic informational content.
  • Write powerful hooks that capture attention in the first 15–30 seconds.
  • Create engaging 8–30 minute YouTube scripts with strong storytelling and retention.
  • Convert scientific research into simple, understandable language for an Indian audience.
  • Research scientific studies, government guidelines and credible sources to support claims.
  • Structure videos with curiosity gaps, open loops, pattern interrupts and strong transitions.
  • Suggest B-roll, visuals, examples, statistics and graphics wherever useful.
  • Identify opportunities to turn long-form content into YouTube Shorts/Reels.
  • Collaborate with me to improve scripts based on audience retention and video performance.

The Ideal Candidate

You should understand that a good YouTube script is not a blog article.
We are looking for someone who understands:
Hook → Curiosity → Story → Value → Open Loops → Payoffs → Strong Conclusion
You should be able to make scientific topics feel interesting, conversational and easy to understand without compromising accuracy.

Important Requirements

  • Strong YouTube scriptwriting experience.
  • Excellent Hindi/Hinglish and English.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts simply.
  • Understanding of YouTube audience retention.
  • Familiarity with nutrition, health, fitness or science content is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to cite credible sources and avoid misinformation.
  • Experience writing documentary-style or educational YouTube videos is a major plus.

Content Style We’re Looking For

Our videos should feel:
Evidence-based + conversational + story-driven + curiosity-driven
We don’t want scripts that sound like:
“Today we are going to discuss the benefits of protein…”
We want scripts that make the viewer think:
“Wait… is what I’ve been told about protein actually true?”
The goal is to create videos that people want to keep watching, not simply videos that contain information.

Topics We May Cover

Examples include:
  • Protein myths and protein scams
  • Insulin resistance
  • Fatty liver
  • Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D
  • Weight loss
  • Indian diets
  • Sugar and processed foods
  • Fasting
  • Carbohydrates
  • Food myths
  • Supplements
  • Popular diet trends
  • Nutrition misinformation on social media

What You Should Submit

Please send:
  1. Your previous YouTube scripts or relevant writing samples.
  2. Examples of YouTube channels/videos you have worked on.
  3. Your experience with research-based content.
  4. Your expected rate per script or monthly compensation.
  5. One short sample script if you don’t have relevant previous work.

Bonus: If you can show a script that achieved strong retention/views, please share it.

Work Arrangement

Remote / Freelance initially
We are looking for someone who can work with us consistently and potentially become a long-term part of the NutriScience India content team.
