I'm a video editor with fifteen years in professional media.
Much of my career has been in commercial post - audio post at an Emmy-winning studio, then several years cutting national TV and social spots for major brands. That work taught me hard deadlines, delivery specs, and how to take notes without getting precious about it. Along the way I built my own channel, and running it changed how I edit. Watching your own retention graph is a fast education in the difference between what's cool and what actually holds someone.
So I cut for pace and story first. Tight hooks, no dead air, sound design doing real work instead of sitting under the picture. My background is audio, which means mixes come back clean, dialogue that sits right, music that ducks properly, both sides of the edit hold viewers.
I also skydive, and I shoot and cut a lot of action footage. If your channel lives in that world, I already speak the language. If it doesn't, the fundamentals travel fine.
Remote, responsive, and reliable. I hit deadlines and I don't go quiet.
