Hire creative professionals

Hello, how are you? My name is Thiago, and I've been working as a professional video editor for over 20 years, collaborating on projects for major companies, advertising agencies, production studios, and content creators. Throughout my career, I've been involved in the production and post-production of commercials, documentaries, web series, music videos, and digital content. This experience has allowed me to develop a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, visual aesthetics, and effective communication. My background enables me to understand not only the technical aspects of video editing but also the strategic goals behind each project. This helps me deliver content that strengthens a brand's message and creates a greater impact on its audience. I currently work remotely, providing clear communication, reliable turnaround times, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results. I approach every project with great attention to detail, always striving to exceed my clients' expectations. If you're looking for an experienced video editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, polished, and professional content, I'd be delighted to contribute to the success of your project.

I cut long-form videos, podcasts, and debates down into fast-paced vertical clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. Instead of just slapping captions on a video, I focus on finding the real story inside a conversation trimming the fluff, crafting strong hooks in the first three seconds, and editing for tight pacing so people actually stick around to watch. Whether it's dialing in the audio, adding dynamic text, or cutting on the beat, I help creators and brands take the best parts of their content and turn them into short clips that hold attention and build an audience.

I recently graduated from UCF with a degree in psychology. I wrote several papers throughout my university career and enjoyed developing my skills in analysis and research. Writing and research assignments were always my favorite and I am looking to continue doing what I love. I have a very flexible schedule and would like to research for a creator interested in my work!

I have 5 years of experience editing YouTube content and over the years Ive learned that great editing is about way more than just making a video look good I focus on smart editing that improves retention, keeps viewers engaged, and helps videos perform better and get more views To me the most important parts of a great YouTube video are storytelling pacing and understanding viewer psychology My goal is to take raw footage and turn it into a video that keeps people watching ideally pushing retention as high as possible even above 80%.

I got into editing because I wanted to understand why some videos make you stay and others make you leave. Over the last 3 years, I’ve learned that a good edit isn’t just about transitions, effects, or making every second look busy. It’s about telling the story in a way that keeps the viewer moving forward. I also run my own agency and YouTube channels, which changed the way I approach editing. I don’t just look at the timeline anymore. I look at the hook, pacing, structure, CTR, AVD, retention, and where viewers might lose interest. When I edit, I’m always asking one question: why would someone keep watching this? That mindset is what I bring to every project.

I've written scripts in the mystery and nature niche, with videos reaching thousands of views and strong audience engagement. I focus on crafting strong hooks, smooth storytelling, and engaging scripts that keep viewers watching till the end. I deliver clear, well structured scripts with consistent quality and reliable turnaround times.

I started my creative journey with video editing, where I learned how to tell stories through visuals, timing, and sound. Over time, I became more interested in the visual side of content and started exploring graphic design, thumbnails, and 2D art. What started as something I enjoyed doing gradually became a skill set that I have been building since 2020. As I explored different areas of design, I worked on YouTube thumbnails, gaming graphics, posters, mascot logos, and 2D illustrations. Working on different types of projects helped me understand how important it is to make designs not only look good, but also communicate an idea clearly and grab attention. I enjoy taking a simple idea and turning it into something visually interesting and easy to understand. One thing that makes me different is that I like working across different creative areas instead of limiting myself to just one. My experience with video editing helps me understand composition and storytelling, while my experience with thumbnails and graphic design helps me focus on visual impact. My 2D art experience also allows me to create characters and illustrations that can give a project its own personality. I am always interested in learning something new and improving my work. I enjoy experimenting with different styles while still keeping the final design clean, practical, and suitable for its purpose. I would love to bring this mix of creativity, adaptability, and hands-on experience to a team where I can continue growing while contributing my own ideas and skills.
