Hey I’m Emma and I research and write scripts for educational YouTube channels to help them improve retention so they can grow while reclaiming their time.
I have an academic and professional background in screenwriting meaning I am always thinking from the audience’s perspective and thinking about how to tell a great story (hint, it’s almost always a fantastic structure!).
That funnels directly into my work as a scriptwriter where I’ve helped channels outperform their average views by 70x, lock scripts in 4x and avoid getting lost in endless research rabbit holes.
More than anything, having grown up on the internet, I care about accuracy and my process starts with a lot of in-depth research to find the most interesting story. Then I structure it and fine tune the script around what the audience will want to know, which makes sure viewers are engaged all the way through.
I'm particularly interested in any channels about science in general, food, media & culture.
