Description
Something was watching me… (He’s still there)
[0:00 – 0:40 | Hook – Dark cinematic music, rain sounds, slow zoom on you in a dark room]
“Close your eyes for a second.
Imagine it’s 2:17 a.m.
You’re alone in your apartment.
The only light is the blue glow of your laptop.
You’re writing… or trying to write.
Then the screen flickers.
Just for a split second.
You think it’s static.
You laugh it off.
But it wasn’t static.
This is the story of what happened next.
And I promise — you’re going to feel it.
This is my story.
And it still gives me nightmares.”
[0:40 – 2:20 | The Setup (Slow building music, you typing at night on screen recording)]
“Two years ago I moved into this tiny apartment in the city.
I told myself I was done with drama.
I just wanted to write stories that didn’t exist.
I wanted to create.
I had no idea that my story was about to become the real one.
I started every night at 11 p.m.
Nothing special.
Just me, my laptop, and the city lights outside my window.
I even had a small camera in the corner — motion sensor.
I thought it would catch anyone who broke in.
It caught something else instead.”
[2:20 – 4:50 | The First Signs (Tension music, you showing screen recording of dark camera feed)]
“First night — nothing.
Second night — the temperature dropped 3 degrees.
I felt it.
Like someone opened a door behind me.
I turned around.
Empty.
Third night — the camera picked up a shadow.
Not the city light.
Not my reflection.
A tall figure standing right behind me, five feet away.
I froze.
The shadow didn’t move.
It just… watched.
I deleted the clip.
Told myself it was a glitch.
But every time I opened the laptop after that, the screen would flicker again.
Just once.
Like it was trying to get my attention.
I laughed.
I was a writer.
I lived in stories.
I shouldn’t be scared of my own laptop.”
[4:50 – 7:10 | The Twist (Sudden music sting, you looking directly at camera) + full story reveal]
“But the twist came on the fourth night.
I was writing.
Not just typing.
I was in the story.
The laptop screen showed my words… but they weren’t the story I was writing.
They were a new story.
About a man who moved into an apartment.
About shadows that watched.
About how the shadows started writing the story back.
I paused.
The temperature dropped again.
I turned around slow.
And there it was.
A shadow in the corner of my room.
Not on the wall.
Not on the floor.
It was… moving.
Walking toward me.
I screamed.
I ran.
But when I looked back, the shadow was gone.
Only the laptop was glowing.
And the words on screen were no longer my story.
They were mine.
They said:
‘Stop writing.
Or become the story.’
I didn’t sleep that night.
I moved out the next morning.
Left everything behind.
The camera.
The laptop.
The apartment.... (To be continued)
