Experienced documentary & Editorial Researcher

I’m a documentary and television researcher with experience in development, character research, interviewing, casting and factual storytelling. I’ve worked on documentaries and series for CBC, Radio Canada, CBC Gem, TVOKids and TFO, and also bring experience as a director and story editor.

What I bring to research is a storyteller’s perspective. I don’t just gather information. I look for the details, connections and unexpected angles that can turn a subject into a compelling story. I can dig deeply into a topic, identify and evaluate reliable sources, uncover interesting leads, fact check information, and organize my findings into clear, usable research that helps shape a strong piece of content.

I’m particularly interested in working with YouTube creators and independent producers who want to make ambitious, well researched content and need someone who can take on the research while keeping the bigger story in mind.
