Description

In my current role as a Business Analyst at Playhouse, I found myself naturally taking on more than just reporting and support. I started creating promotional flyers and marketing text for campaigns, and updating our website content, simply because I noticed gaps where the team needed it and figured I'd learn as I went. That's honestly how I approach most new skills: I dive in, watch a few tutorials, and get comfortable by actually doing the work.

What I'm proud of is that this content creation work happened alongside my core responsibilities, not instead of them. I run daily KPI reports, manage customer transactions, and do root cause analysis on recurring issues — so I bring a genuinely data-informed lens to marketing too. I don't just make something look good; I think about whether it's actually driving engagement, because tracking what works is second nature to me at this point.

I haven't worked with tools like GoHighLevel or Meta Ads Manager yet, but I've already started exploring them, and I'm genuinely excited by the idea of learning funnel-building and paid advertising properly, with a team that can teach me. I think what I can offer isn't a finished skill set in every tool listed, it's someone who picks things up fast, takes ownership without being told twice, and brings a customer-first, metrics-driven mindset to whatever I create.

Ultimately, I'm drawn to marketing because I like seeing the direct line between what I create and how people respond to it, and I'd love the chance to build that skill set properly in a role like this one.
