Description
What makes me unique as a creative professional is the combination of my experience as a filmmaker, editor, and visual storyteller. I've worked across documentary, television, and commercial production, which has taught me to approach each project with an understanding of both the bigger story and the details that bring it to life. Having worked in directing and producing, I understand how a project develops from an initial idea to a finished film, and I bring that perspective into the edit.
I'm particularly drawn to work that has a strong point of view, whether that's a character-driven documentary, a cultural story, or a commercial campaign. My background in graphic design and television art departments also gives me a sensitivity to typography, composition, rhythm, and visual identity. I enjoy finding the right balance between storytelling and aesthetics, creating work that feels considered without losing its energy or emotional impact.
A recent milestone was directing and producing Provocation & Outrage for ARTE's Tracks East, working across New York, Berlin, and Istanbul. Experiences like this have strengthened my interest in stories that explore culture, politics, and the ways people experience the world. I'm curious, adaptable, and comfortable moving between creative disciplines. I bring a filmmaker's instinct for story, an editor's attention to detail, and a designer's eye for the frame.
