Video editor

I'm a self-taught video editor and filmmaker who learned through hands-on practice, experimentation, and making my own projects from scratch. I primarily work in DaVinci Resolve, with experience in editing, motion graphics, sound design, visual effects, and color correction. Rather than relying on templates, I like understanding why an edit works and building the visuals around the story and pacing.

I'm especially interested in YouTube editing because I enjoy turning raw footage into something that actually holds attention. I pay attention to rhythm, sound, transitions, visual emphasis, and the small details that make an edit feel intentional rather than just a collection of clips. I'm comfortable working with both short-form and longer-form content, and I'm constantly trying to improve instead of settling for the first version that works.

My filmmaking background also gives me a slightly different perspective as an editor. I've made my own stop-motion short and several independent video projects, which has taught me to think about the entire piece rather than just individual cuts. I'm still building my professional experience, but I'm serious about the craft, quick to learn, and willing to put real thought into every project I work on.
