Description

I got into video editing in 2022 and gravitated toward motion graphics because I liked the challenge of making explanations actually land visually — not just cutting clips together, but building graphics that reinforce what's being said.

My main body of work has been editing long-form whiteboard/animated explainer videos for an AI content creator's YouTube channel with over 300K subscribers, working on a per-minute basis. Over that time I built a full visual system — kinetic typography, character rigging, and layered compositing — and learned a lot about pacing content so it holds attention without losing the substance.

What I'm best at: taking dense or technical content and making it visually clear without dumbing it down — clean pacing, motion graphics that support the narration, and animated UI/screenshot walkthroughs when the content calls for it.

I'm currently taking on new long-term editing projects and looking to build ongoing relationships with creators rather than one-off gigs.

Whiteboard Explainer Video — Editing & Motion Graphics

    Learn more

Edited this long-form explainer video for an AI content creator's YouTube channel (350K+ subscribers), working on a per-finished-minute basis.

    What I worked on:
    - Overall pacing and structure to keep retention high across a long-form format
    - Motion graphics and kinetic typography synced to the narration
    - Layered compositing (background, whiteboard layer, motion graphics) for a consistent visual style
    - Sound design and music curation tied to script beats

Challenge: keeping a dense, information-heavy script visually engaging without overwhelming the viewer — solved by timing graphics to hit exactly when key points are spoken, rather than just decorating the video with generic transitions.

SaaS Motion Graphic Animation — Self-Directed Project

    Learn more

A self-directed SaaS-style motion graphic animation built entirely in After Effects to demonstrate UI/dashboard animation and data visualization skills.

    What I worked on:
    - Full UI mockup animation (dashboard metrics, data panels, transitions)
    - Custom motion graphics for animated charts and stat counters
    - Clean, modern SaaS aesthetic — no templates, built from scratch

This project was created to showcase the kind of UI/product animation work I can bring to explainer videos, SaaS demos, and product walkthroughs.

    Whiteboard Explainer Video #2

    Learn more

Another long-form whiteboard explainer video edited for the same AI content creator's YouTube channel (350K+ subscribers) as my other project on this profile — showing consistency across multiple videos on an ongoing per-minute basis, not a one-off edit.

    What I worked on:
    - Pacing and structure for a different topic/script while maintaining the channel's established visual identity
    - Motion graphics and kinetic typography synced to narration
    - Layered compositing (background, whiteboard layer, motion graphics) to keep visual consistency across episodes
    - Sound design and music selection matched to the channel's sonic identity

This project demonstrates the ability to work within an established visual system and maintain quality/consistency across an ongoing client relationship, not just single deliverables.
