Narrative and video essay script writer

I’m a writer and YouTube scriptwriter with a background in film studies, practical filmmaking, and creative writing. Over the past seven years, I’ve studied film and screenwriting in the UK and the US, recently graduating from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and First-Class Honours.

Throughout my studies, I’ve written multiple short-form screenplays and developed a strong interest in storytelling, character psychology, and film analysis. I enjoy looking beyond the surface of a story to understand what makes it work, exploring the ideas behind it, and finding ways to communicate those ideas in an engaging and accessible way. I’m now bringing that approach to video essays, combining analytical thinking with creative writing to develop scripts that inform, entertain, and keep audiences interested.

My primary interest is film and cinema, particularly video essays that explore storytelling, characters, themes, and filmmaking techniques. However, I’m equally interested in exploring other subjects, from history and art to culture and society. What excites me most is the opportunity to take an interesting subject, research it thoroughly, and turn it into a compelling narrative that gives viewers a new perspective.

I bring a combination of creative writing, research, analytical thinking, and an understanding of visual storytelling. Having studied both the academic and practical sides of filmmaking, I appreciate how writing works alongside visuals, editing, music, and sound to shape the audience’s experience. I’m eager to continue developing my skills, collaborate with creative teams, and contribute to videos that leave audiences with something interesting to think about.
