With one parent in the military and the other an immigrant, I moved around a lot, often to places where people didn’t speak my language or didn’t want much to do with a new kid. So when I wasn’t busy with something else, I watched a lot of TV: commercials, movies, shows, sometimes in languages I didn’t understand. That’s where I learned that storytelling is pretty universal.

As a theater kid on small bases without much of a stage, I got hooked on the idea of starting a YouTube channel. That meant learning everything myself: setting up a room for proper audio and lighting, making edits and graphics in Photoshop, and of course editing video. I downloaded the free version of DaVinci Resolve and just went to town. No guides, just using it until things clicked. When I needed more advanced skills, that’s when I went back and learned the proper way.

Today I edit for a large channel that’s close to hitting a million subscribers, plus a smaller client channel, and I run my own channel on the side. All of them are growing every day. There’s a real satisfaction in chipping away at something and then seeing the big picture all come together.

I love telling a good story, I love telling a good joke, and I love putting things together. My biggest strengths are communication, efficiency, and reliability, and I’m always looking to learn more and work with people to bring their ideas to life.
