Description

I've spent the last several years writing film and TV commentary for CinemaSins, one of YouTube's longest-running entertainment channels — starting freelance in 2017, then full-time from October 2018 through December 2025. When Made In Network acquired the channel at the end of 2025, I stayed on through the transition, adapting my writing to a new team and workflow before going independent again in mid-2026. That stretch taught me how to write fast, consistent, audience-tested scripts under real production deadlines, and how to keep a show's voice intact even as the business around it changes.

Along the way, I picked up the rest of the production pipeline, not just the writing. I do editorial research, host and produce podcasts (including interviewing guests), and edit both audio (Adobe Audition) and video (Adobe Premiere and CapCut). That combination means I can take a piece of content from concept to a finished, publishable product without handing it off at every step.

What I bring is versatility: I can write the script, research the topic, produce the audio, and cut the video myself. For teams that need someone who can operate across the whole content pipeline — not just one lane of it — that's where I can help.

I co-wrote this entry in CinemaSins' flagship "Everything Wrong With" series, then reviewed and revised the script for pacing, joke placement, and accuracy before production.  My job was making sure the writing held up under that pressure: sharpening weak jokes, cutting anything that dragged, and keeping the tone consistent with the channel's voice.
