I started editing videos the way most people do. Obsessively consuming content, breaking down every cut, every transition, every pacing decision, trying to understand why certain videos hold attention and others don't. That curiosity never went away. Two years in, I still approach every project the same way: not just "does this look good?" but "why would someone keep watching this?" That question led me down a rabbit hole that most editors don't go down: the psychology of why people buy, watch, and share content. I've spent as much time studying direct-response principles and audience behavior as I have perfecting my craft in DaVinci Resolve. The result is that my edits aren't just clean. They're built to perform. Over the last 60 days alone, my work has contributed to 10M+ organic views across client channels spanning US health creators, doctors, Bollywood personalities, and DTC brands. I've edited everything from long-form podcast clips and talking-head content to AI-generated UGC ads and I've built full AI video production pipelines using tools like Higgsfield and Kling that most editors at my level haven't touched yet. What makes me different is that I treat every project like a testing problem. I want to know what worked, what didn't, and why. I use that to make the next edit sharper. I'm not precious about my work. I take feedback fast, implement it faster, and I'm always looking for the next tool, format, or technique that gives my clients an edge before it goes mainstream.

I started editing videos in 2020 with zero formal training in production, my degree is in Civil Engineering. Everything I know about After Effects, motion graphics, pacing, and retention I learned by studying what the best YouTube channels were doing and reverse-engineering it in my own projects. That engineering background shaped how I approach editing: systematic, precise, and always asking "why does this visual element exist here?" Six years later, I run VIDNERD, a video production brand that partners with YouTube creators in business, finance, and education. My specialty is something I call intentional kinematics; object-based motion graphics (constructed visual elements) placed at key moments in a video to reinforce what the speaker is saying, not caption it. I design deliberate visual moments per content segment, with breathing room between them. The silence is what makes each one hit. Where I stand out from most editors in this space: I don't just edit footage, I think about the content strategically. Before I touch the timeline, I listen to the full recording and identify the moments that need visual reinforcement; the hook, the key insight, the pivot, the CTA. Then I build motion graphics objects that serve those moments specifically. The result is a video that feels like a produced show, not a raw recording with effects dropped on top. Recently, I've been pitching directly to established YouTube creators with spec edits, taking their raw footage and editing it the way I would as their production partner, then sending it alongside a full proposal. It's a bold approach, but it works because the work speaks before the pitch does. I'm currently open to long-term partnerships with YouTube channels that want their editing to match the quality of their content. If your videos carry themselves on expertise alone and the visuals haven't caught up yet, that's exactly the gap I close.
