Social media writer specializing in hooks, storytelling, and high-retention scripts

For the past five years, I've written, directed, and produced content that takes heavy material (psychology research, philosophy, business strategy) and turns it into stories people actually want to watch. I started by building my own YouTube channel, Turtleneck Philosophy, from scratch. I wrote, hosted, shot, and edited more than 100 video essays, and the channel has earned nearly 5 million views. Every part of my craft came from that channel: scripting, on-camera delivery, editing, and reading retention data to figure out why one video holds attention and another loses it.

That foundation took me to some of the biggest names in the self-development and business space. I researched and wrote long-form video essays and podcast content for Mark Manson and the SOLVED Podcast. I wrote scripts in Codie Sanchez's voice for Contrarian Thinking's YouTube and Instagram channels. As a freelance multimedia specialist, I wrote, directed, and edited video for clients including Jordan Peterson, Tammy Peterson, Zack Telander, and Dasein Health, and spent nearly a year as sole editor of the Tammy Peterson Podcast.
