Description

I'm a UK-based Video Editor specialising in YouTube entertainment, personality-led content and unscripted storytelling. What I enjoy most about editing is finding the story within the footage, whether that's building tension, landing a joke or turning an unstructured shoot into something genuinely entertaining.

I'm currently Head of Media at a creative agency, where I oversee post-production, support a team of editors and take the editorial lead on larger projects. My experience includes working with YouTube creators such as Big Stacks, producing and editing everything from comedic blind dates to boxing mini-documentaries, often working with limited footage, tight deadlines and minimal creative direction.

My background in videography and filmmaking gives me an understanding of the entire production process, but editing is where I want to focus my career. I've also written, directed and edited my own narrative short film, Vanguard, which strengthened my approach to story structure, pacing and character.

I primarily edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. My strengths are narrative construction, comedic timing, sound design and knowing when to let a moment breathe rather than over-editing it.

I'm looking to work with ambitious YouTube creators and production teams making entertaining, personality-driven long-form content. I'm comfortable taking ownership of an edit from raw footage through to final delivery, and I'm open to full-time opportunities and relocation for the right role.

    The Challenge
    Turn a largely unstructured livestreamed blind date into an entertaining, cohesive YouTube video, with limited opportunities to capture additional footage.
    My Approach
    I filmed supplementary interviews and B-roll on location, then built the narrative around the livestream footage. I focused on finding the funniest moments, using awkward silences, reaction shots, interview contrasts and comedic timing to develop the personalities and give the video a clear beginning, middle and end.
    The Result
    An eight-minute, personality-led entertainment video that transforms largely unscripted material into a structured story, balancing humour, pacing and character interactions.

    Big Stacks Misfits Boxing | Mini-Documentary

    Role: Videographer, Editor & Producer
    The Challenge
    Create a promotional mini-documentary around Big Stacks' upcoming fight with Jordan McCann, with less than a day's notice to organise and shoot the core interview and training footage.
    My Approach
    I independently organised access to a local boxing gym, planned and filmed the interview and training session, and combined this footage with material I'd previously shot at a Misfits Boxing event.
    In post-production, I constructed the documentary around the rivalry and upcoming fight, using interview excerpts, event footage, B-roll, pacing and sound design to build context, tension and anticipation.
    The Result
    A 10-minute, personality-led boxing documentary produced under significant time constraints, demonstrating my ability to develop an idea, organise a shoot and shape disparate footage into a coherent story.

    The Challenge
    Turn an unplanned gym training session into an engaging, educational YouTube video without a predetermined script or narrative structure.
    My Approach
    I filmed the session observationally, capturing multiple angles, natural interactions and key training moments. I also recorded supplementary interview material to provide context and help guide the story.
    In post-production, I constructed the video's narrative from the available footage, balancing educational information with personality-led moments, natural pacing and visual variety to keep the content engaging.
    The Result
    A 15-minute YouTube video built from an unscripted training session, demonstrating my ability to identify a story within raw footage and develop it into a coherent, watchable long-form edit.
